An absolutely fantastic team, applying the deepest care and long-term consideration no matter the concern. A stellar practice that took the time to see me in an emergency capacity while traveling, carrying on the same mission-driven and health-forward work of Dr. Joel Sanders. A remarkable resource for anyone living in the Chicagoland area. Cannot sing their praises highly enough.

This review is long overdue. After several visits with other dentists for my granddaughter who had several decayed baby teeth, she told us nutritionally what could be done and how to proceed going forward. No one had even addressed the connection to how she ate (picky, grazing eater) to why her teeth had developed cavities. In adoption to her concerned, but not overly judgmental demeanor, she educated us on what to do going forward and how to protect her adult teeth. What’s also worth a huge mention is her staff. They are top tier! Friendly and very warm. They responded with urgency when we needed a fast appointment. They helped us in getting treatment at another facility which required a lot of hoops and loops on Dr. Barekat’s end, which took days to complete. But they did so willingly and we couldn’t be more grateful. She’s a great dentist and we’re lucky to have her here in Illinois. ❤️

After seeing a mainstream dentist for my whole life, and my dental health only ever deteriorating, I sought holistic care with Dr Simona. I have learned so much about oral bacteria and gum health. I have had deep scaling done, regular cleanings, fillings and now will begin ozone treatment for managing early periodontal disease. I totally trust that I am in good hands. Dr Simona is such a calming presence that all of my dental anxiety vanishes when she’s around!

Amazing experience. Dr. Simona and her team are incredibly kind. welcoming, and professional. I had an amalgam filling removed using the SMART method and felt completely safe the entire time. So happy to have found a local dentist we truly trust—highly recommend!!

Dr. Simona is not only highly skilled, but also so gentle and thoughtful in her approach—she really takes the time to make you feel comfortable and informed. We had amalgam fillings removed using the SMART method, and the level of care and attention to safety was outstanding.
